NAZI TREACHERY

Some ■ revelations bearing on Germany’s treachery to Poland were made known tonight in a broadcast by the former Polish Ambassador in Berlin. He is now a lieutenant in the Polish Army. He said that two days before the Nazis'invaded Poland he informed the German Foreign Minister, Herr von Ribbentrop, of the readiness of the Polish Cabinet to undertake direct conversations, and Ribbentrop undertook to tell Herr Hitler, but on returning to the Embassy to telephone Warsaw he found the line had been cut. Fortyeight hours later German aircraft were raining bombs on Polish cities.
