IN WASHINGTON AGAIN
BRITISH PRIME MINISTER AND MRS CHURCHILL. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.30 n.m.) RUGBY, September 1. A Washington message reports the arrival of Mr and Mrs Churchill. They are to stay at the White House. It ; s officially stated that the Prime Minister and President will continue some phases of the conversations begun at Quebec. The statement adds: “Mr Churchill’s arrival does not represent the beginning of a story, but the conclusion of one begun in Canada.” President Roosevelt met his guests and is entertaining • them tonight at a family dinner party.
