LADIES’ HOCKEY
MATCHES WITH WELLINGTON. Next Saturday on the Lansdowne grounds the Wairarapa senior B and junior representatives will contest with Wellington the ownership of the SpiersBrough Cup and the Robertson Cup, respectively. The former trbphy is at present held by Wairarapa and the latter by Wellington. The visitors will arrive by the 11.20 a.m. train on Saturday and depart again at approximately 5 o’clock. The junior game is timed to start at p.m. and the senior at 2 p.m., when some good hockey should • be witnessed. Players in the Wairarapa senior A team, which is to visit Wellington on Saturday, will be notified of their travelling arrangements by ’phone as soon as they are finalised. .. .......
