DECISION OF LIVERPOOL STATE MINERS. SHORTAGE BEING RELIEVED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, September 1. “No tobacco—no work” was the decision made by the Liverpool’State miners this morning, when they returned home pending satisfaction being received. , An amendment to work meanwhile was defeated. A union meeting is to be held tonight to discuss the question. A tobacco shortage throughout the district is being relieved today.
