STATE THEATRE

DOUBLE PROGRAMME. The programme which will be shown tonight is of the usual high midweek standard, and contains an excellent variety of subjects. The two main pictures deal with life in Western America and are thrilling dramas, splendidly portrayed by actors and actresses o. undoubted ability. Containing sensible plots and most interesting stories, they should make a warm appeal to picture patrons, and especially to American service men. There is not a dull moment in either picture and the scenery and photography are excellent. In the “Devil’s Trail” Bill Elliott has the leading role, and in “Rio Grande” Charles Starrett is seen at his best.
