WAIRARAPA APPEAL BOARD SITTING MASTERTON & DISTRICT CASES. FREEZING WORKS EMPLOYEES. The Wairarapa Armed Forces Appeal Board commenced a sitting in Masterton today when there were present Messrs R. R. Burridge (chairman), L. T. Daniell, F. Cole (members of the board) and G. F. Whitlock, secretary and Crown representative. The following additional appeals relating to employees at the Waingawa Freezing Works were dealt with: — Fellmongery: Adjourned sine die: Thomas Bell, Frederick William Clear, Harry McLeod Ewen, Charles Alexander Frances, Charles Gillon. William Thomas C. Gleeson, Stanley Atwill Hawkless, •William Frazer McDonald, Patrick James O'Connor, Walter Norman F. Quayle, John Thomas Baxter Ryder, John Arthur Taplin. Dismissed, Arthur J. H. McGrath.
Cooperage: Adjourned sine die, Stephen Henson. In the following cases the name of the person lodging the appeal is given in parentheses: Adjourned to November 30, 1943, Cecil Ewen Malmo, motor engineer (Director of National Service and G. Malmo, Ltd); John Noel Leadley, meat inspector (Director of National Service); Robert Jack Catherall, meat inspector (Director of National Service).
