KNOWN TO PARISIANS

ACCORDING TO FRENCH TRAITORS. ,

“PLOT” TO ELIMINATE LAVAL.

The Paris Press has been full of a Vichy “plot,” says “Feuille d'Avis,” a Swiss newspaper, against Laval. Deat is.quoted to having written: “We do not doubt that a vast plot exists in France and elsewhere. It has as its avowed object to crush attempts at collaboration, to spoil any sort of relations between France and Germany, to eliminate Laval, and finally to greet with open arms an Anglo-American landing.” The same paper quotes another writer as saying that the “plot” was known to four million Parisians, but unknown to the rest of France.
