Ambulance planes are being used extensively in the Soviet Union, U.S.S.R. to render vital assistance to the liberated areas, bringing medical supplies, preserved blood and other preparations. There are a number of air ambulance stations in the Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov,. Krasnodar and Stalingrad regions, “Soviet War News” reports. The number of ambulance planes has recently been increased at the central station which serves the Smolensk, Kalinin and Tula Regions.
