LAMB-KILLING BOAR — SHOT BY A SETTLER. (“Times-Age” Special, i A. big '•amb-i'illing boar in the Mntawhero and Burnside areas was destroyed on Thursday night by Mr Hap: Sutherland, over whoso property (ho animal had been roaming forjtho past month. It measured 4 feet 6 inches from tip to tip. Paliiser Lay Road Slip. The work of clearing the big slip on the Pailiser Bay road is proceeding, and it is proposed to bridge the gap. It is hoped that the work will be completed in a short time to enable vehicular traffic to be resumed.
