Mrs Churchill, wife of the British Prime Minister, broadcasting to the United Kingdom, called on Britain to make “aid for Russia flag days which were starting on August 24 the occasion of a thanks offering to RussiaRussia, who stood in the breach while Britain and America were building up armies and armadas. She needs all we can give and has earned the right of our help,” Mrs Churchill declared.'
