The death occurred in Masterton today of Mrs Annie Sayer, of Dixon Street. Mrs Sayer was born at Bristol, England, and came to New Zealand about thirty years ago. She is survived by a husband, four daughters and two sons. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, leaving the Chapel of Hyde's Funeral Service, Ltd., following a service at 10 a.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
The death occurred in the Masteton Hospital today of Mr William John Strickland, at the age of 67 years. The late Mr Strickland had been a patient in the Masterton Hospital for four years. He was born at Wairoa, Hawke’s Bay, and had resided in Masterton for some years. He is survived by a widow and four sons, one of whom is Maurice Strickland, the wellknown boxer. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, leaving the Chapel of Hyde's Funeral Service, Ltd., following a service at 11 a.m., for the Crematorium, Wellington.
