TRACK WORK AT OPAKI. HAMPERED BY WET WEATHER. Heavy tracks at Opaki has hampered training operations this winter, but nevertheless Trainer T. R. George has a promising team of two-year-olds who should soon make a forward showing. Perhaps the most likely one is Silvio, the Lang Bian-Love of Silver colt, owned by Mr S. J. Newland. Silvio will make his debut in the Wanganui Debutant Slakes in September. Another good looking ono is Beau Cheval, a colt by Beau Fere from Cuddle, and the breeding is there. PAKURANGA PROSPECTS.
