COURT RULING REGARDING STATUS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, August 19. The Court of Appeal has ruled that all Austrian citizens in the United States at the time of the “Anschluss" are not enemy aliens because they are not bound by the German decree of July 3, 1938. which automatically made Austrians everywhere citizens of Germany. The decision affects the status of thousands of Austrians now in the United States.
