' KILLED WHILE SCHOOLING. Master Laclchtun. a nine-year-old chestnut gilding by Lackham from Wench, trained by I'. Burgess for Mr F. S. Easton. Foxton. fell in a schooling task at Ti.cnlham on Tuesday morning and broke his neck. It was his first schooling effort since his return from the Great Northern meeting iff June, when. he was unable to compete on account of ricking himself on the eve of the Great Northern Steeplechase, for which he was the pre-post favourite. In his three seasons of racing ho had 26 starts for six wins and five minor placings worth £1485 in stakes. RACING FIXTURES. August 21.— Pakuranga Hunt Club.
