PLAY READING
LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY. “AREN’T MEN BEASTS.” One of the most amusing and entertaining play readings yet presented by the Masterton Little Theatre Society was given last pvening in the society’s hall. The reading was a comedy, “Aren’t Men Beasts” (Vernon Sylvaine). There was a large attendance of members and others.
Those taking part in the reading were: Mesdames T. Jordan, J. A. Kennedy, R. Miller, Roach, Misses J. Gemmell, Holmes, Bannister, Messrs V. Joseph, M. M. Simpson, A. W. Don, L. T. Daniell, H. H. Daniell, J.. A. Kennedy and Leading Aircraftman Beavis. Mrs Berney was in charge of the stage directions.
A Social evening will be held on September 4. The next reading has been postponed from September 1 until September 8.
