A British heavy bomber posted missing after a recent raid on Milan has turned up safely. On the outward journey the oxygen supply was found to be failing and the captain of the aircraft thought it unwise to risk a return across the Alps. The plane dropped its bombs on its target, however, and then flew on to North Africa. The bomber returned to its base in Britain carrying a supply of fruit and with the members of its crew, browned and happy, wearing shirts and shorts.
