“Moontide” will be finally shown tonight.
DOUBLE FEATURE
There will be shown tomorrow night a double feature programme of exceptional merit. “Red River Robinhood” is a thrilling story of the west in which law and order ride with the masked avenger. The chief role is taken by Tim Holt who is strongly supported by Cliff Edwards. It is a drama that will appeal because of its quick action and many commendable scenes in which the Red River Robinhood performs many acts of justice, being always found on the side of the weak.
The other feature, “Seven Miles from Alcatraz” provides the audience with many exciting moments in an excellently presented drama in which some thrilling war episodes are witnessed. The programme is well up to the high standard set by the management for its mid-week programmes. On Sunday night the programme for Service men, who may bring two friends, will be headed by the brilliant drama, “Lilian Russell,” the life story of the famous actress who was at the head of her profession some forty years ago.
