Seven New Zealanders were members of the Duntroon Royal Military College Rugby Union side which defeated a combined Great Public Schools team here by 18 points to 9. The Maori winger, B. Poananga, scored the outstanding try of the match. The other New Zealanders on the winning side were: C. Boyce, H. Freame, H. Jones, -F. Childs, D. Belton and W. Tebbutt.
