The Waingawa Sub-Station, P.W.D., reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Shade temperature: Maximum 51.5, minimum 35, terrestrial 29. Sunshine, 3 hours 12 minutes. Rain, 12 points. Frost, 1.4 degrees. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 11 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. PHASES OF THE MOON. AUGUST.
