WAIRARAPA CLUB MEETING ON AUGUST 15. DRAW FOR EVENTS. The Wairarapa Coursing Club will hold a meeting at the Akura plumpton on Sunday, August 15, at 1.45 p.m. Just Bet, winner of the New Zealand Water - 100 Cup, is contesting the Open Stakes. Transport will leave the depot at 1 p.m. for the conveyance of dogs. The draw is:— ’ Open Stakes (W. Darvill Trophy).— Soviet Union meets Tukopa, Flying Nell meets Stormy Footsteps, Royal Routine meets Just Bet, Royal Step meets China’s Hope. Maiden Stake (Watson Rose Bowl).— Sea Queen meets Gold Rod, Roy Rufus meets Gold Pariel; Royal Silver meets Sue; Kagal Boy meets Kittyhawk, Cynical Kid meets Orui Lady, Whizzbang meets Mah Jong, Phantom Gold meets Ajax, Eclipse meets Gay Crest, Cyclone meets Lady Gail, Southern Cross meets Lucky Cinders, Spitfire Joe meets True Guide.
