Miss M. Carter, Miss B. Burch v. Miss Barnitt. HOTELKEEPER FINED BREACHES OF LICENSING ACT. At the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., Simon Scott, licensee of the Morison’s Bush Hotel, was charged with (1) supplying liquor to a person under 21 years; (2) selling liquor after hours; and (3) opening for sale of liquor after hours. On the first charge he was fined £2 with costs 15s, and on the second charge he was fined £lO, with costs 10s. The third was withdrawn by the police. Some civil claims were adjourned for two months.
