A meeting of the Knox Ladies 1 ’ Guild was held in the McLaren Room last night, the president, Mrs G. W. Morice being in the chair. Mrs Gaskin was appointed to attend to the flowers for the church for the month. Members undertook to mend army clothing for the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union. A vocal solo was contributed by Mrs R. Spicer and a sketch, “References,” was presented by Mesdames Graham, Brown and Diggle. A competition was won by Miss Wilson. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Heyder, Ogilvy and Pickering. A bring and buy stall in aid of the Chaplain’s Fund was held.
