ACKNOWLEDGED BY RETIRING AIR CHIEF. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The National Patriotic Fund Board has received a letter of appreciation from .Air Vice-Marshal Goddard, who, until recently, was Chief of the New Zealand Air Staff, regarding the assistance national patriotic organisations and particularly the board had given the R.N.Z.A.F. in the matter of welfare and comforts. He also paid a tribute to the work performed under the auspices of the board by Miss Constance Morice, as Dominion Secretary of Air Force Relations.

A letter thanking Air Vice-Marshal Goddard and wishing him Godspeed, has been sent by the board.
