The following seniors will represent the Wellington Province against Auckland next Saturday: —Bartlett, Silver, Busby, Fox, Stevens, Flanigan. A junior team will also compete against a team representing Auckland. In spite of the fact that the team was without the services of N. Jacobsen, one of the club's best juniors, the Kiatere juniors acquitted themselves well against strong opposition. Ken Greaves, one of the youngest runners in the club, ran a splendid race to finish in 13th place. Other members of the team found the course very difficult. A team was not entered in the senior’ event, as members who are serving with the R.N.Z.A.F. were sitting -for an examination, and there were not sufficient other runners to make up a team. Next Saturday a run will be held by the Kiatere Club from the Park Oval, starting at 2.30 p.m. A training run will be held on Thursday night.
