LATEST OFFICIAL FORECAST FAIR TO CLOUDY. WITH COLD TEMPERATURES. The following official weather report and forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— DISTRICT FORECAST: Moderate to fresh north-westerly winds. Weather fair to cloudy with further showers in high country. Temperatures cool to moderate. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Mainly fair. The Waingawa sub-station, P.W.D., reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Shade temperature, maximum, 52.5; minimum, 43; terrestrial, 35; sunshine, 42 minutes; rain, 25 points. Mr 11.
