CASUALTIES IN HAMBURG ACCORDING TO GERMAN OFFICIAL. INCLUDING 8.347 KILLED & 3,514 MISSING. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, August 2. The Zurich correspondent of the Stockholm newspaper “Tidningen,” quoted a Hamburg police official saying that the raid casualties were over 30.000, namely 8,347 killed, 3,514 missing and 18,681 wounded. He said 259 industrial plants and 2,953 residences were demolished. Over 5,000 residences were severely damaged. Not a single building escaped some damage.
