REGENT THEATRE

“THE AFFAIRS OF MARTHA.” Tonight there will be presented a most unusual story in “The Affairs of Martha.” Based on an original story and screen play by Isobel Lennart and Lee Gold, the picture is directed by Jules Dassin. Martha the maid is writing an all-revealing expose of the social set —and her diary is one that holds the interest throughout. She sees all, knows all and tells all. For laughs and some real home truths, patrons should see this feature. On Sunday, at 8.15, there will be a special screening of “The Affairs of Martha” for members of the Allied forces, who may bring two friends.
