LOST IN THE ATLANTIC IN ACTION WITH ENEMY SUBMARINE. ALL BUT ONE, OF CREW SAVED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY. July 30. A United States Navy Department communique states: “In the Atlantic the non-rigid airship K 47 was lost at sea recently as a result of a gunfire attack by a surfaced enemy submarine. The K 47 was fired on while attacking the submarine and as a result of a hit was forced to make a landing on the sea. Ail except one member of the crew were rescued.”
