Price Order 147 fixes MAXIMUM prices when sold by growers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers: GROWERS’ PRICES (fixed for South Island grown).—lst is price per ton for Group 4 certified “Mother” seed, 2nd is price per ton for Group 7 certified “Commercial” seed, and 3rd (if any) is price per ton for uncertified seed. (a) Chippewa, Doon Early, Dunbar Standard, Katahdin, £l4, £l2/10/-, —. (b) Arran Consul, Arran Banner, Arran Pilot, Aucklander Short-top, Aucklander Tall-top, Catriona, Cliffs Kidney, Epicure, Jersey Bennes, King Edward, Majestic, Robin Adair, Up-to-Date and other varieties not specified elsewhere, £l3, £ll/10/-, £9/5/-. (c) Arran Chief, Dakota. Inverness Favourite, Iron Duke, Northern Star, Gamekeeper, £ll, £9/15/-, £B/15/-. For potatoes classified higher than Group 4 or Group 7, a premium of 5/- a ton shall be charged for each upward step in the classification. Timaru, Wairoa, Wanganui, Wellington and Westport. Wholesale, 141 oz. tin, 16/7 doz.; 301 oz. tin, 29/3 doz., plus sales tax. Retail. 2/- and 3/6 per tin. ELSEWHERE: Wholesale, 17/- doz., and 30/1, plus sales tax. Retail, 2/01 and 3/7 per tin. » BEESWAX. Price Order 145 fixes MAXIMUM prices:—When sold by (a) a beekeeper, 2/- per lb. F.O.R. nearest station, (b) Anyone else, 2/- per lb. plus freight charges. Persons other than beekeepers are entitled to apply for special prices for beeswax sold in ordinary course of business.
