VISIT TO MALTA

MANY BRIGHT PROGRAMMES.
Since his arrival in New Zealand Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Fveybei'g has made special mention of the high standard of lhe Kiwi Concert Parly, a band of entertainers recruitoil from Die Second N.Z.E.F. in the Middle East and financed 1 by the National Patriotic Fund Board. The Kiwis have provided many bright programmes for I Ik.' men of the .New Zealand Division, and in March and April of lliis year they visited the battered island of Malta to give concerts there. A copy of lhe "Malta Review,” a weekly bulletin published by the Information Office. referring to a programme presented Inwards the end of March, for the civilian population of Malta, nays: “H seems certain that the ‘Kiwi Revue’ will become the classic concert parly of this war in much the ,'iaine way as did lhe ‘Rouges et Noirs,' the troupe which became famous in France mid 1 Flanders during the Great War.
