TO EISENHOWER’S BROADCAST RELEASE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS. TENSION RISING IN NORTH ITALY (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 29. The latest reports from Switzerland indicate that the Italian Government is giving attention to General Eisenhower's broadcast today, though the Rome radio has not yet referred to it. It is reported that political prisoners will be liberated with the utmost expedition and high Fascists imprisoned. The Chamber of Deputies is dissolved and , a general election is promised four months after the war. A wholesale change of provincial prefects and high officials is also reported. Tension in the north is rising, but no revolutionary action has yet been taken.
