FORESTERS’ LODGE
WELCOME TO MEMBERS FROM OVERSEAS.
C.R. Bro. G. Selby presided over a well-attended meeting of the Court Loyal Enterprise, A.0.F., in the Foresters’ Hall on Monday evening.
Amongst the brethren present were P.C.R. Bro. Sergt. T. N. N. Collie and Bro. P. Dixon, who had recently returned from the Middle East.
During general business, Bro. Selby welcomed Bros. Collie and Dixon, expressing the pleasure of the Court at having them home again. After the returned brothers had been welcomed with the “Foresters’ Fire,” led by S.C.R. Bro. R. Walker, the C.R. asked P.C.R. Bro. Collie to take the C.R.’s chair for the evening. Bro. Collie returned thanks to the brethren.
At the conclusion of business, a social hour was spent, Bros. Collie and Dixon being the guests of the Court. The guests both gave some inteersting reminiscences of their experiences and impressions since leaving New Zealand.
