INDICTMENTS IN UNITED STATES. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) NEW YORK, July 27. A Federal grand jury investigating the recent unauthorised strikes in the soft coal fields in south-western Pennsylvania indicted 30 persons, comprising 19 officers of the United Mine Workers’ Association and 11 members of that organisation. All are charged with conspiracy to prevent the production of coal, in violation of the Con-nally-Smith anti-strike law which was enacted on June 25.
