FOR AMERICAN NEGROES. DEMANDED BY MR WILLKIE. (By Telegraph—Press Association -Copyright) NEW YORK, July 25. Full and equal rights for negroes were demanded by Mr Wendell Willkie in a broadcast. He added that race riots were caused by “an attitude of mind akin to Fascism/’ He said the Republican Party felt it had no further obligation to the negro citizen because Lincoln had freed the slaves. Mr Willkie attacked the Democrats for ‘•sanctioning one set of principles in Atlanta and another in Harlem.”
