DOUBLE PROGRAMME. \ “When Johnny Comes Marching Home” and “Female Correspondent” will be finally shown tonight. “FOR ME AND MY GAL” Rather than showing that slight deterioration that marks the singing of many young stars after a few years, the voice of Judy Garland seems bet* ter than ever, in “For Me and Mj Gal.” which will be shown tomorrow night at the Regent Theatre. It is back in the Great War days, and Judy Garland and Gene Kelly are tramping the vaudeville boards yearning for the Mecca of Broadway They arrive thereby a devious route and both join the army, with Gene Kelly spiking Huns and Judy Garland singing to the boys. It is fine entertainment, with Judy Garland singing a large number of new song hits .
