REPRESENTATIVE GAME. BUSH TEAM TO PLAY WAIRARAPA. The Bush Rugby Union’s sole selector, Mr S. Oliver, has chosen the following team to play Wairarapa at Carterton on Saturday next:—Full-back, I. Tait; three-quarters, D. Bicknell, Barton, P. Twentyman;; five-eighths, J. Stephenson and P. Bartosh; half-back, Barnett; forwards, front-row, Shaski, Jaspers and J. Bartosh; locks, T. Verry and S. Staples; sides, J. Dallimore and T. Upston; back-row, R. Welsh;; emergencies, D. Williams, Monaghan and Braddick. AIR FORCE CUP. GAME ON SATURDAY. A game in which considerable interest is being taken is that betwen the Rongotai team and the Air Force fifteen at the Wairarapa College grounds on Saturday, commencing at 2.30 p.m., for the Air Force Cup. Among the Air Force players will be Henderson, Wright and Stevens, and many other seniors who have figured prominently in Rugby matches in the Wairarapa this season. With both sides possessing fast backs and clever forwards, the game should provide the best exposition of Rugby seen in the Wairarapa for a considerable time. Local followers of football are cordially invited to witness the match.
