WEDDING
HANDRICKS—MOSEN. At St. Stephen’s Church, Opotiki, recently, Peggy Doreen, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. W. Mosen, of Masterton, was married to Norman Leslie Handricks, R.N.Z.A.F., son of Mrs and the late Mr N. Handricks, of Auckland, and formerly of Opotiki. The bride, who was escorted by her eldest brother, Leading Aircraftman Walter Mosen, Masterton, looked charming in a fully trained bridal gown of oyster satin. The long filmy veil, which was prettily scalloped, was held to the head with a spray of real flowers. Satin shoes and a dainty bouquet, finished the charming toilet. A gold cross and chain was worn. The matron of honour was Mrs Eric Day (sister of the bride), and the bridesmaid was Miss Rita Mosen, another sister of the bride. Mr Ray Shalfoon, Opotiki, was best man, and Mr E. Handricks, Auckland, groomsman. Mr P. Borrie and Mr J. Patterson were ushers. A large number of guests subsequently attended the wedding breakfast,’being received by Mrs Mosen and Mrs Handricks.
