DRUIDS’ LODGE

BUSINESS AT FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of the Stonehenge Lodge of Druids was held last night, A.D. Sister Schaeffer presiding. Motions of condolence were passed with the relatives of the late Mrs J. Pickett and of the late Bro. A. G. Swinn. Reports were received on six brethren on the sick funds of the lodge. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £133 18s 5d were passed. It was decided to invite the Totara and Fernleaf lodges to attend the next meeting on August 2, when a welcome home would be extended to Bro. Corporal A. H. Mudgeway, on furlough from the Middle East. Bro. F. Ellett and the secretary, Bro. H. A. R. Dunderdale, were appointed to attend a special meeting of the U.F.S. Council to be held tonigh.
