WAIRARAPA INTERHOUSE COMPETITIONS. TWO TEAMS DISQUALIFIED. Play was keen and exciting at the Wairarapa Interhouse Association’s indoor basketball competitions played in Masterton last night. Unfortunately, however, the rough nature of the play resulted in Borthwicks and the Transport teams being disqualified. Rough play was also in evidence in the Lan-cers-Hansells match. C. Smiths scored a surprise win over Codys and W.F.C.A. beat Hosiery Mills. Results: Hansells beat Cathies B, 7/0; Sparklets beat McKenzies, 16/4; Rangers A beat Garages, 26/2; Borthwicks and Transport, both disqualified for rough play; Cathies A beat Woolworths 11/9; C. Smiths beat Codys, 10/9; Hansells beat Lancers, 8/6; Rangers B beat McDuffs B, 14/2; McDuffs A beat United, 8/4; W.F.C.A. beat Hosiery Mills, ‘9/6. i
