PERSONS ACCUSED OF AIDING GESTAPO. FIRST PROCEEDINGS OF KIND (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, July 15. The trial of 10 men and one woman who are accused of aiding the Gestapo in atrocities during the German occupation of Krasnodar opened at an unnamed town in the Caucasus, says the Moscow radio. It is the first trial of its kind to be held in Russia. One thousand inhabitants of Krasnodar arc stated to have been murdered or tortured by the Germans. Accused, who are stated to have supplied the .Germans with information, are being tried by a military court, and counsel appointed by the State are appearing for the defence.
