ROTARY CLUB

SOLDIER’S EXPERIENCES OVERSEAS. The experiences of three years’ of war were summarised in a talk at the weekly meeting of the Masterton Rotary Club today by Private K. McEwen, who is on furlough from the Middle East. Private McEwen left New Zealand as a member of the Second Echelon and fought in the campaigns of Greece, Crete, Libya and Tunisia. The president, Mr J. H. Cunningham presided over a large attendance of members. Guests present included Messrs G. H. Mackley (Lower Hutt), T. Allen (Wellington), J. F. Roberts, V. E. Donald and H. A. R. Dunderdale. On the motion of Mr H. H Daniell the speaker was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his address.
