FAILURE OF COLLABORATION WITH HITLER. “PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING LOST.” (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, July 12. Laval, broadcasting to former war prisoners, admitted the failure' of his policy, of collaboration with Hitler: “I felt that France was saved at Montoire when I signed an agreement with Hitler, but subsequently practically everything has been lost. I had a feeling during the interview with Hitler that I had achieved immense success for France, but on an evil day I again came up against Britain. I have been described as fianatically opposed to Britain. I am a Frenchman and love only my country.”
