WIN FOR NAPIER HIGH SCHOOL TEAM. CLOSELY CONTESTED MATCH. Bright and keenly contested football was witnessed by a large crowd of spectators at the Wairarapa College grounds yesterday afternoon when Napier High School first luteen beat Wairarapa College first fifteen by 13 points to 12. The score was a good indication of the run of play. Although opposed bv a heavier pack the College forwards played very well. The backs also gave a good display. , . , n The Napier school team combined well and gave a splendid exhibition of the code. Napier’s score was made up by tlyee P 0 " 81 ' ties kicked by White and a spmndid field goal also kicked by White. For Wanmapa College McDonald scored and Hemi kicked three penalty goals. Both sides gave the ball plenty of air and the game was most interesting to watch. Mr W. Grantham was an efficient referee.
