RUGBY UNION
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr K. G. Fairbrother presided over a meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa Rugby Union at Carterton last evening. The treasurer reported a credit balance of £33 19s Bd. The Wellington Union wrote stating that it would be impossible to send a third grade team to the Wairarapa this season. M. Doyle was granted a transfer from the Old Boys to the Masterton Club. The following classifications made by the union’s sub-committee were approved of:—■ To play senior: R. Clay, R. Broughton, L. O'Shea, B. Gill (Masterton A third grade) ; O. Rayner. Shute, Thompson. Davey, D. Stevens (Old Boys). W. O. Stevens was granted a transfer from Masterton to Old Boys. It was decided to play home and home matches with the Bush. It was also decided that third grade games be arranged between the Unions. It was decided that senior - and junior Possible v. Probable games be played next Saturday at Carterton.
