SPEEDS THE LIBERATION OF MARTINIQUE. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) NEW YORK, July 7. The Trinidad correspondent of the Associated Press of America says that crowds 15,000 strong took possession of the streets! of Fort de France, Martinique, for two days recently shouting “Vive de Gaul”! and singing the “Marseillaise.” This is reported to have forced the Government to seek an agreement with the United States.
