WAIRARAPA CLUB. MEETING ON SUNDAY. The Wairarapa Coursing Club will hold a meeting at the Akura Plumpton on Sunday when two maiden stakes will be run. Dogs from Auckland, Wellington and Wairarapa will compete. The following is the draw for the events: — 12-dog maiden stake: Silvers Delight meets Flying Midget, Awatahi meets Cynical Kid, Better Days meets Lord Wilga, Chinas Hope meets Border Maid, Roy Rufus meets Kitty Hawk, Royal Silver meets Cyclone 11-dog maiden stake: Orui Lady meets Gold Trail, Gay Crest meets Spitfire Joe, Phantom Gold meets Lady Gail, R.A.F. meets Ngamatapouri, Soviet Union meets Desires Pride, Lucky Cinders a bye. The judge will be Mr W. L. Jensen, the slipper Mr R. D. McEwen, while Mr L. M. Archer will act as slip steward.
