REGENT THEATRE
‘■ARABIAN NIGHTS" There will be a special attraction at the Regent Theatre this evening when the brilliant picture, “Arabian Nights” will be shown. It is one of the most superb entertainments in technicolour ever brought to the screen, and critics, have described it as a great production which should not be missed. Jon Hall, Maria Montey and Sabu are featured in the picture. It is an incomparable story that has thrilled millions with its glorious adventure and wild romance, with fascinating Maria Montey as Sherazade, Jon Hall as the reckless Haroun, and Sabu as Ali Ben Ali, the mighty mischief maker. There is a matchless cast of supporting stars. In the picture there is seen Bagdad and its sprawling, brawling streets of pleasure, the slave market, the torture rack, the burning of Bagdad and a succession of thrilling incidents. Patrons are strongly advised to book early for this brilliant attraction.
A special screening for members of the Allied forces will be held on Sunday, commencing at 8.15 p.m.
