SINKINGS BY U-BOATS
REPORTED ADMISSION BY GERMANS.

The Germans admit that the June sinkings by U-boats were the lowest yet recorded, says the Stockholm “Tidningen’s” Berlin correspondent. The "National Zeitung’s - ’ naval writer admits that the Allies have found a coun-ter-measure, but claims that sinkings will rise again following a period in which U-boats will be withdrawn for technical revision and the tactical training of crews.
