MENINGITIS
PREVALENT IN AUCKLAND. FOURTEEN POSITIVE CASES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 25 Though the number of eases has not reached the epidemic proportions of last June, when there were 25 positive cases in Auckland, cerebro-spinal meningitis is prevalent in the Auckland central health district. The Medical Officer of Health, Dr T. J. Hughes, said that since the beginning of the month 14 positive cases had been reported in the district, which extended from Rodney County to Mercer.
