ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

DANCE ON SATURDAY NIGHT. A dance held by the St. John Ambulance Brigade in the Masonic Hall on Saturday night was particularly successful. Excellent music was rendered by Jack Barnes’s Rhythm Boys’ Orchestra and the duties of M.C.. were capably carried out by the Cadet Superintendent, Mr C. S. McQuade. Extras were played by Captain Minhinnick and Mr W. Stewart, and much appreciated vocal items were rendered by Miss Wairaki Nini. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Fitzwater and Mr R. McKenzie, and a lucky spot fox trot by Trooper E. Spackman and partner. The Brigade’s next dance will be held in the Masonic Hall on Saturday, July 10.
